Mixed Martial Arts Caged Combat Fight Events from Savage Entertainment

Our Mission

Savage Entertainment would like to thank all of the fighters who have competed in Mixed Martial Arts for us! You have stepped up and faced the unknown. Let's face reality, most promotions in the Land O' Lakes "cater" to certain teams. "Team _____________ went 10-0 tonight, they must be training with Fedor!" But peel the layers of the onion back and your eyes will burn from the stench. I have been on the Mixed Martial Arts bandwagon since UFC I, November 12th, 1993, back when it was called No Holds Barred! I attended the first show in Minnesota and fought on the second one. I have fought professionally, trained, taught, booked fights and now promote. My goal is to put on good fights, that's it, end of story.

Usually, if you fight for a promotion, you will be used as cannon fodder, unless of course they manage you, then you will fight Cindy from Troop 316. If you are marketable and train a little, they will tie her shoelaces together! If you sell a lot of tickets, they will blindfold her!

Savage Entertainment doesn't cater to anyone but the fans. The fans want to see good fights, competitive match-ups. I have been told by JUDGES and REF'S that we put on the best fights! And we do, but only because the fighters that compete for us step up. Again, thank you fighters! When potential fighters call to book a fight, only about 1 in 5 will go through to fight day, the others will drop off because we can't guarantee a win. It's pathetic what Mixed Martial Arts has come to in Minnesota. We want to go back to the roots. This is fighting, real Mixed Martial Arts, not staged B.S. Somebody said recently that this isn't fighting, this is entertainment. I say B.S., to me, good fights ARE entertainment!

Our business model is set up differently than others, when you call 952-564-0092 to book a fight, you will see we are selective, but here's the payoff. When you win, you actually beat an opponent who could have beaten you, therefore making your win legit, not fluff. I can think of many local boys who fought cans, were hyped by their management to where they even believed the hype, went to the big show and were humiliated, some were even taunted by the commentators. By fighting for us, facing stiff competition, feeling the heat, this will actually help you if you ever make it to the big show. You will be battle hardened, so to speak. Our ticket prices may be an extra 5 bux, but it's money well spent. Come to our next event and see for yourself!
